Both ProPlan and QuickPlan have a common database and cover the whole of Europe. In addition to more printed reports ProPlan offers weight & balance calculations, climb & descent calculations, an aircraft performance database and access to METARs, TAFs and NOTAMs. ProPlan also includes a GPS interface which enables users to load a route (together with any user waypoints) directly from PC into most common handheld GPS units. A track download feature enhances post-flight evaluation.
A database subscription service is available for both programmes and existing users can upgrade their software or upgrade from QuickPlan to ProPlan via www.navbox.nl
