Two of Sporty's® most popular videos have now been combined onto one information-packed DVD. So You Want to Fly Helicopters brings helicopter flight into your living room like you've never seen before. We've teamed up with designated examiner and GOLD-SEAL instructor Don Fairbanks, who prepares you for the challenge of helicopter flight. In addition to covering all the specific information needed to pass the helicopter portion of the FAA Private Pilot exam, you will be mentally prepared for your flight lessons. You'll get a close look at several of the training helicopters in use today, such as the Hughes 300 and Enstrom 280FX, and in particular the Robinson R22, which is flown throughout the video.

Helicopter Cross-Country is a fast-paced video that takes you across varying terrain and through changing weather. You'll learn the various considerations for choosing a route as well as the techniques Don has gathered over the years to make cross-country flights safer and more enjoyable. Covers everything from takeoff to touchdown—even a steep approach-to-landing at a mountainous helistop. This video is dominated by in-flight footage and clear graphics, which makes learning enjoyable.
