Becker AR-4201 VHF Transceiver

BECKER AR 4201 VHF-AM-Transceiver - The new, extremely small and light weight transceiver offers 760 channels and is certified for use in VFR and IFR equipped aircraft. Even smaller and lighter than it's forerunner - the legendary AR3201 - it is ideal for installation in gliders, motor gliders and small aircraft due to its low power requirement and2 1/2 inch round panel cutout.

Due to the implementation of the most modern technology it has been possible to minimize the depth of the module, including the connector, to less than 9 inches. Using the RS-232 interface, all functions can be remotely operated.
This model is also incorporated into the stand-alone
BECKER GK415 mobile station.

Becker AR6201 VHF Transceiver

The Becker AR6201 VHF Transceiver is smaller and lighter than its legendary forerunner AR 4201 due to implementation of state-of-art DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology. It is mountable in the 2 1/4 inch standard instrument panel recess, equipped with a highly efficient AM-transmitter, offering easy switching between the 8,33 and the 25 kHz mode. A built-in-test facility increases flight safety. The dual monitor mode allows scanning of two different channels.

  • Frequency from 118.000 MHz to 136.990 MHz
  • 8.33 or 25 kHz channel spacing
  • RF-Output Power: > 6 W
  • Receiver Sensitivity: > 12dB sinad for 1 uV
  • Supply voltage 9 to 36 V DC
  • 1,2 A @ 12 VDC (transmit), 85mA @ 12 VDC (receive stand-by) current consumption
  • Operating temperature - 20 °C to + 55 °C (short-time + 70 °C)

    Becker BXP6401-2-(01) 150W Mode S Transponder

The Becker BXP 6401-2-(01) is a compact and lightweight single block Mode-S transponder. It is according to level 2 and class 2 and suited for VFR and IFR up to 15,000 feet.

The transponder is equipped with extended squitter and SI code function and it provides an interface to the central aircraft data system. It allows ELS and supports EHS, ADS-B' via extended
    squitter.

The Mode-S ICAO address and additional fixed data are stored in a separate address module AM 6400-1-(01), which is plugged on the transponder and remains in the aircraft, if the transponder will be exchanged. BXP 6401-2-(01) is designed for panel mounting and fits into a 2.25 inch cut out. A split version is also available.

The sunlight readable display can be illuminated and dimmed for night operation. The display shows the actual settings. The wide range of power supply voltage and the low power consumption make this transponder suitable for VFR as well as IFR.

The transponder is prepared for the connection of blind encoders from different manufacturers. The encoder can be connected to the transponder by a serial or a parallel interface.

BXP 6401-2-(01) is directly exchangeable to the ATC 4401-1 as the dimensions are the same and the main connector has the same pinouts.
