Comments by his peers

  • "I got the book and I'm very impressed. The b737mrg is an excellent guide, very high quality and very well laid out. It would be a book that should be in everyone's aviation library. I'm carrying it in my suitcase so I can study it further. I'm going to learn a lot of things reading this! You've done a great job collecting this information from all your experience, Pat."

Bill BULFER - author of the B737 Companion Guide

  • "This guide is full of lots of good information, tips and advice about handling non-normals. Excellent background reading - especially before visiting the simulator. Your diagrams and tables are particularly good. On the whole it is an excellent publication which gives good advice beyond the scope of our FCOM's and, if you don't mind the logic gate layout, most 737 pilots could learn a lot from it. "

Chris BRADY - author of the b737.org.uk Technical Site

  • "Just received my copy of b737mrg in the post yesterday. After a brief review last night may I say what an 'excellent' product, far better than I expected. Looking forward to sitting down over the coming weeks and diving deeper into the contents. All in all, Pat, I reckon it is money well spent."

D.G. - Coordinator B737-700IGW Wedgetail - The Boeing Company, Australia

  • "I am flying BBJ for US Air Force. I did get the b737mrg and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am definitely passing the word about the guide."

T.P.B. - Chief Pilot B737-BBJ - US Air Force, USA

B737 captain, Jakob Burkhardt: "I bought the "Performance Reference Handbook". The book is brilliant! It is the best Performance book I have ever held in my hands. Anyone who is interested in the subject (and I bet many are) must buy that book!"

PAT BOONE (author of the Management Reference Guide): "The 737PRH makes 737 performance transparent and understandable to pilots like me, for whom performance has always been some kind of black hole. I finally got to understand some performance issues that have been obscure to me for many years ! The book comes in handy format and excellent layout. I recommend this guide to all 737 pilots !"

Flying The Boeing 700 Series Flight Simulators

Captain Mike Ray has created exactly what the PC simmer needs to transition from experiencing merely a gaming flight experience to actually operating the Boeing flight simulations in the manner in which they were designed to be operated. It refelects a depth of knowledge and understanding on the part of the author of both the aircraft systems and the mind set of the simmer who desires to operate them.

Presented in a manner that is simple to understand and easy to read, it invites the simmer to become knowledgeable and conversant with subjects that are otherwise virtually incomprehensible. The complexities of the Boeing EFIS, PFD, MCP and other systems are made simple and easy to operate by the approach taken by Captain Mike Ray.
