Tax-free shopping / VAT refunds for private persons

What is tax-free shopping?

On most of your purchases, an average of 21 percent value added tax (VAT) is included in the
purchase price.

If you shop in our store, or online and have your goods delivered to a EU-address, you might be
eligible for a VAT refund. You will need to export the goods in your travel luggage to a country
outside the EU. We partner with vatfree.com to provide you this service.

Create an account at www.vatfree.com and take these three steps to claim your VAT:
1. When shopping in our store:
Scan the taxfree QR code in store to start your tax-free claim.
When shopping online and having the goods delivered to an address in the EU:
Register your name, passport number and non-EU address as the billing address. Use the EU address
where you are staying as the delivery address. Register your invoice via the vatfree.com website to
start your VAT refund claim.

2. Before leaving the EU, at the airport or at border control, go to customs to have your purchase
invoice physically stamped. In some countries, such as the Netherlands and Belgium, you can obtain
a digital export validation. You will be guided through this process by vatfree.com via email.

3. After customs validation, you will receive a confirmation by email and can have the refund paid
out to your own bank account, credit card or paypal.

Vatfree.com will take care of your refund and will keep you posted via email. Learn more at

Please note: Only invoices that meet the minimum purchase amount are eligible for a VAT
reimbursement. In the Netherlands this amount is €50, in Belgium €125.01 and in Germany
€50.01.
